The original Butterfly Staxx was a big hit for Netent, probably because of its appeal as a lower volatility slot that made it suitable for players with a lower risk appetite. I didn't find much changed with the soundtrack though I think the original artwork has a slight edge. The features haven't changed much although this slot gives us the choice of the Butterfly Spins or Butterfly Frenzy, unlike the original. While some players like the option, my preference would always be the free spins. The maximum payout of £250,000 is a theoretical value only, so it's difficult to say if the payout has improved over the original. I recommend players have a look for themselves and decide which version they prefer.
