Casino review / Partouche du Havre
01 Jan 1957
Le Havre is located by the sea in the Normandy region, and the city has the second largest port in France, after Marseille. It is a city with a turbulent history, as it was almost completely destroyed by bombs during the Second World War. The city centre was rebuilt between 1945 and 1964, according to the plans of the architect Auguste Perret. The architecture of the area is characterised by the use of precast concrete using a system of a modular frames, and UNESCO listed this part of the town as a World Heritage Site in 2005. It is one of the few contemporary sites listed in Europe.
Of course, this area is very popular with tourists, but there are also several old buildings that are still standing, such as a medieval abbey. There are also many theatres and concert halls, as well as various museums that deserve a visit.
If you are a player you will surely be happy to hear that there is also a casino. The Partouche Casino in Le Havre is the centre of this review.
A traditional but complete game selection
You can enjoy the games on over 750 m² of gaming space in a very red and bright atmosphere, and try your luck of winning a jackpot. The room has a modern design - a bit too flashy for my taste - and it is open to all adults (aged over 18 years) who are not prohibited from gambling, and can present a valid identification.
The slot machines
The slot machines room is open Sunday to Thursday from 10 am until 4 am, and until 5 am on Friday, Saturday and eves of public holidays. You can enjoy around 180 devices accepting bets from 1 cent. In this selection are:
- games where you can win a progressive jackpot, such as the famous Megapot and Megapok,
- traditional slot machines with mechanical reels,
- modern video slots with digital reels,
- video poker,
- an electronic English roulette with 158 spaces.
Best of all: players can enjoy a breakfast every morning!
The table games
The table games are open Sundays to Thursdays from 9 pm to 4 am, and until 5 am on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of public holidays, and you can enjoy the thrilling atmosphere of these traditional games at 6 tables with the following games:
- 2 tables with English roulette,
- 2 tables with blackjack,
- 2 tables with texas hold'em bonus poker.
There is also a poker room in the casino that has 4 tables with texas hold'em poker. You can play against other players in cash games or tournaments.
