The Aldo Journey Wild can move one space on every spin. He shifts in one of eight different positions and substitutes for all of the other regular symbols. He returns to his original position when you change the coin value.
Wild Time! Feature
During the base game, when Aldo finds himself on the same two squares then from 3 to 9 wilds are randomly placed on the reels with a random multiplier value of 2x - 4x all wins. During the extra spins, from 3 to 9 wilds are also randomly placed on the reels, and either +1, +2 or +3 is added to a multiplier counter excluding the Journey Extra Spins.
Extra Spins

So what did I think?
Aldo's Journey is a mildly entertaining slot inspired by Marco Polo's travels along the Silk Road. Yggdrasil proves yet again that they are a leading game designer with superb visuals and audio quality that I really enjoyed.
The slot offers several features such as the Aldo Journey Wild which is always active and useful for creating wins, but I found that it wasn't until the Wild Time! Feature or Extra Spins that I could crack 20x total bet or more. While my wins weren't about to break the bank, I did think that this slot does have good entertainment value.
