Two ice-class cruise ships with casinos designed for arctic sea tourists
Russian companies are working on a floating cruise ship with casino designed to sail the Arctic waters.
We've seen some pretty creative casinos in places like Las Vegas, but never an ice-class cruise ship with a casino. Well, now Vympel Design Bureau and the Almaz Central Maritime Design Bureau are aiming to change all that. The Russians are currently working on a few 5-star ice-breaker ships for the Arctic, containing casinos with table and slot games. We've got details below.
Floating casino on the Arctic Ocean
The creative idea of turning ice-breakers into cruise ships offers passengers the opportunity to travel in waters virtually impossible to them before. On the one hand, passengers experience the exhilaration of a cruise in the frigid Atlantic waters and on the other hand, have some fun playing from amongst the casino games which include slots and table games. No Las Vegas casino can match this combination!
300 to 350 passenger capacity
The idea is to accommodate anywhere from 300 to 350 floating passengers who will be able to play slots and table games.
The idea of Arctic cruise ship casinos is still in the study phase, but the idea is to carry between 300 and 350 passengers. It would contain a thick ice-breaking hull, a heliport, huge games room and 5-star lounges. These casinos on the water should give land-based casinos a run for their money.
