By Sophie Couard

Gambling addiction is a serious problem that can affect players and their families. While problem gamblers remain a small part of the overall population, it is still a cause for concern and regulators take it very seriously. There is good news for compulsive gamblers from Latvia as the Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspection (IAUI) will be providing state-sponsored support in the form of a psychologist.

Access to the renowned psychologist

The support sessions for gambling addicts will be free of charge and held Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. These will be available to both the players and their families at the regulator's Riga premises.
