Evolution Gaming acquires its rival Ezugi

Evolution Gaming will pay $18 million to acquire its rival Ezugi.

Two companies that have already been in our headlines in the recent past, Ezugi and Evolution Gaming are known for their live casino table games. First, we told you that Ezugi will begin to offer live games from a famous Spanish casino, and that Evolution Gaming had introduced a new blackjack table. Today we're reporting back on these two companies, as Evolution Gaming has taken over Ezugi.

$18 million

The company, which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, will pay $18 million (about €15.8 million) for the acquisition of Ezugi. The acquisition is expected to be completed early next year.


Sales increase of 4% expected in 2019

According to first estimates, Evolution Gaming forecasts a sales increase of around 4% for 2019.

The acquisition of Ezugi is very good for Evolution Gaming, as it will increase its geographic footprint and, above all, accelerate growth in key markets such as the US. According to first estimates, an increase in sales of around 4% is expected in 2019.
