EveryMatrix exits the UK market
EveryMatrix will be leaving the UK white-label market after irreversible damage to its brand.
Back a couple of weeks ago, we told you that the UK Gambling Commission had suspended EveryMatrix's UK licence. This was the result of failures to meet requirements linked to customer interaction and compliance. Well, now they are back in our news after the EveryMatrix withdraws from UK announcement. We've got some details to share next.
UK white-label business
Having operated in the UK since 2014 up until the suspension close to the beginning of September, the company has now announced that they will be surrendering their remote gaming B2C operating licence. This was after the company concluded that the negative publicity surrounding the suspension had irreparably damaged the white-label business. This decision comes as a surprise as it was only a few days ago that it was revealed that EveryMatrix was teaming up with the compliance start-up company beBettor.
The company will now focus on its B2B business globally and in the UK.
Renewed focus on the B2B market
If there's a silver lining to the announcement, it's that EveryMatrix can now focus their resources on the B2B space both in the UK and internationally where they have demonstrated growth over the past few years. This includes gambling software solutions. Additionally, the company still intends to address its compliance deficiencies going forward.
Playfrank casino will be looking to replace their white-label provider shortly.
