The Cosmopolitan casino in Las Vegas has launched a lawsuit against NHL player Evander Kane.
The Cosmopolitan casino is suing NHL player Evander Kane for unpaid gambling markers as well as legal costs, outstanding interest and other expenses. We've got some details on the story of Evander Kane pursued by the Cosmopolitan next.

On Monday, the 4th of November, the casino filed a lawsuit for over $500k in markers that it had issued to the NHL player back in April. Also, the Cosmopolitan Casino is seeking to recover $15k in additional expenses. The casino had issued Evander Kane with eight individual markers ranging in value between $20k and $100k when his team was in town to play the Vegas Knights in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The casino alleges that he failed to pay $500k in gambling markers back in April.
Evander Kane is a Canadian professional hockey player from Vancouver. He currently plays left wing for the San Jose Sharks and is one of the better players in the league. In 2018, Kane signed a mammoth $49 million deal over seven years. Although Evander Kane pursued by the Cosmopolitan, neither he nor his team has commented on the incident.
It would seem that he may have had a history of not paying his bills when it came to restaurants, as well.
Whatever the case may be, it seems that we'll have to wait a little longer to see what the outcome of the lawsuit will be.
