The Barrière group has just announced that they want to open a gambling club in Paris.

Casinos are still banned by law in Paris, but since January 1st, 2018, a new gambling law has come into being, that allows the creation of clubs. The first applications are under consideration, but the Barrière group has already announced that they want to open their own gaming club on the most beautiful street in the world this summer, Champs-Elysées.

The Champs-Elysées

The Partouche group is undoubtedly the most important French casino operator. When the first applications for the opening of a gaming club in Paris were filed, the competitors were surprised that the Barrière group had not applied. It would seem now that it was because they were perfecting their application.

The group is very ambitious and they want to open a club on the Champs-Elysees this summer.

The club is scheduled to open this summer in front of Fouquet's on the Champs-Elysees.

Opposite Fouquet's Restaurant

Run by the Barrière Casino Group, this planned game club is set in front of the chic Fouquet's Restaurant on one of the most famous streets in the world. As the law requires, it will not be possible to play blackjack, roulette or slot machines.

The question still remains as to whether the company will be permitted to open the doors to their planned club? Like all the other applications, for the three additional clubs, only time will tell.
