Free-to-play now treated as simulated online gambling

On August 20th, 2019, Apple's revised policy regarding free-to-play apps went into effect internationally. Under the new policy, free-to-play casinos are to be treated similarly, but not identically, to real-money online casinos even if they aren't.

Worldwide players must be 17 or older while South Koreans must be 19 or older.

South Korean classification number

As a result of discussions with the government of South Korea, players will need to be at least 19 years of age. Developers will need to provide a classification number, based on a review from the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee.

The changes to free-to-play online casino apps at the Apple Store won't affect your play at online casinos like SlotsMillion, PlayFrank or Dunder Casino.
