A gang of burglars stole €60,000 in Salford's casino
Some people use their extra time at Christmas to play a few honest rounds at a casino because of the great promotions, such as the developer Yggdrasil Gaming’s €80,000 give away. Unfortunately, a small fragment of people are not interested in a few honest rounds and are prepared to cheat, such as a gang of burglars who stole £60,000 worth of chips at a Salford casino.
The casino remains closed over the holidays
On December 25th, a gang of thieves whose number of members has yet to be determined used the opportunity to rob a casino. The casino in Salford, near Manchester, England, is closed on Christmas Day. A group of burglars used this opportunity to smash a wall unnoticed at the back of the building and steal £60,000 in casino chips.
Gambling tables remain closed
The following day, the casino opened again in Salford, but the gaming tables were not available to the players until replacement chips arrive at the casino.
