Saint-François is a seaside resort that is located south-east in the department of Guadeloupe at the southeastern tip of Grande-Terre facing the Désirade and the Petite-Terre islands. It is popular for the beautiful sandy beaches that are protected from the Atlantic currents by a coral reef, The town has many attractions, starting with a modern marina with 220 mooring places and a famous 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. There is also Pointe des Châteaux nature site, which is a rocky peninsula stretching from the Atlantic tip of Grande-Terre and is dominated by a tall cross monument facing the ocean. In short, the Cogit Casino in Saint-François is a very pleasant casino. Of course, it is not really the casino that warrants a trip there, as it is relatively small, but if you are visiting Guadeloupe and like to play games, you should give it a visit.
