Golden Sands, Pyramids and Sphinx
With the reddish tint of the sun reflecting off blowing sand, and majestic pyramids and solitary Sphinx in the landscape the game sets up the theme nicely! Poker symbols make up the entry-level symbols, which is anything but original. The scarab symbol associated with the sunrise and the ankh symbol representing eternal life are at the next level. The falcon symbol with eye of Horus is the next level up followed by a nemes headress. The top paying symbol is the sun god Ra himself. The symbols are good quality, colourful and not atypical to what you would normally find for this sort of theme from other games. The sound effects are very effective in this game from the sliding sound of stone during reel spins, the howling wind and the eerily faint chanting. I thought that for sound effects, this was one of the better games.

Sun god Ra wilds
Given the name of the game, it is fitting that the wild symbol for this slot is represented by the sun god Ra and may appear stacked. If the stacked god Ra wild symbol completely covers the 1st and 5th reel then the 15 free spins feature is triggered. Here, the stacked wilds on the 1st and 5th reels remain sticky for its duration.
Urn bonus
During spins, three urn symbols may appear on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels, which in turn unlock the bonus game. Here you are prompted to choose one of the urns for a crack at the prize inside and this could be as rich as 150x your bet!

The variance for this slot is not low meaning that wins of a decent size are harder to come by. While we were able to trigger the bonus feature more than once, prizes were nowhere near the maximum and we were unable to trigger the free spins feature. The game is likely to require a bigger bank role meaning it is not for everyone. This is not a bad game but we felt that there are probably better Ancient Egyptian themed slots out there with better odds.
