Based on the 1933 novel by James Hilton, Hidden Valley is the utopia enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains in the Himalayas. Mountains and valleys
The snow covered mountains in the background tower above the lush green valley below. Graphics are standard, with lower paying poker symbols, bald eagle, yak and three different characters including two adventurers and a Sherpa. More could have been done with the graphics and in particular the symbols to really make them stand out. Poker symbols are bland so borrowing ideas from the novel to align the symbols more with the theme would have been a better way to go. The sound effects and music do not disappoint and one of the saving graces along with some mild animation at points during play.

Stacked multiplier wilds
The main attraction in this game is the multiplier wild, which can appear stacked on any of the reels. The wilds can range in value with ranges determined by the multiplier bet wagered. The wild can replace any symbol except the bonus scatter symbol and range in value from 1x to 10x.
Free spins with bonus wheel and extra wild symbols
Three bonus scatter symbols will trigger the free spins feature with 2x multiplier. Spin the bonus wheel to determine the number of free spins awarded and to determine which if any of the characters will transform into an additional wild for the remainder of the feature. If you get 2 or more bonus scatters during the free spins feature then you get either additional free spins or extra wild symbols. Great sounds and features
The bets in Hidden Valley can range from €0.40 to as much as €120 and you can choose from pre-determined amounts. The game offers some nice sound effects and music but I did find the choice of symbols a little disappointing. The stacked wild multipliers are a great feature to add to your winnings, which are not amongst the highest out there. Still if you have a sense of adventure, you may find what you are looking for preserved in the mystical mountains.
