The beautiful area of Lyon Vert is located in the hills of Lyon. This is a true gem of nature in the west of the second largest city of France, and ideal place for resting and relaxation. There is also a prestigious 5-star hotel, a gourmet restaurant and a magnificent casino, one of the largest in the country! The establishment is located in a fantastic old building with an Art Deco architecture that offers you the chance to have a perfect time with the games, leisure activities and culinary delights. Let me explain in more detail now what the establishment has to offer.
A nice game selection
Although the outside of the Partouche Casino Le Lyon Vert de La Tour de Salvagny has a retro feel to it, it is absolutely not the case inside of the establishment. The casino has a modern and very tasteful design. The casino can be accessed by adults only (aged 18 or older), and only if they are not prohibited from gambling. It is also mandatory to present a valid proof of identity, such as an identity card, a driver's license or a passport upon entering.
The slot machines
The slot machines are available every day from 10 am to 4 am, and you can find over 330 devices, such as:
- 98 devices accepting different denominations,
- 16 for 1 cent,
- 25 for 2 cents,
- 9 for 10 cents,
- 20 for 20 cents,
- 76 for 50 cents,
- 53 for €1,
- 49 for €2,
- 2 for €5.
Among them are:
- innovative video slot machines with the latest technology,
- traditional slot machines with mechanical reels,
- modern video slots,
- different variants of video poker,
- games with progressive jackpots, such as the famous Megapot,
- an electronic roulette with 18 seats.
The table games
The traditional table games are available every day from 8 pm to 4 am, and you can find 12 tables with the following games:
- 4 tables with blackjack with stakes from €10 to €500,
- 4 tables with English roulette with stakes from €2 to €100,
- 2 tables with boule 2000 with stakes from €2 to €80,
- 1 table with la bataille with stakes from €5 to €250.
You can also play texas hold'em in a small poker room with two tables. The buy-ins start from €200 and the blinds from €5/€5. The room is open every day from 8 pm to 4 am.
Dining and drinking
So that you can make the most of this nice game selection, the Partouche Casino Le Lyon Vert de La Tour de Salvagny also offers different areas where you can rest and relax between the games. You can have a drink or a meal at the bar in the casino or the restaurant next to the games room.
The Bar at the Casino is just a few steps away from the electronic roulette, the table games and the video poker terminals. The bar invites you to have a refreshing drink in a nice atmosphere. You can find hot beverages, sodas, beers, cocktails and even some sweet and savoury snacks on the menu.
The restaurant Le Caz is located right next to the bar, and is open every day Sunday to Thursday from 12 pm to 2.30 pm and also from 7.30 pm to midnight, and on Friday, Saturday and eves of public holidays from7.30 pm to 1 am. The design of the restaurant is contemporary, and you can find many different salads and burgers, as well as many other dishes on the menu.
In a very prestigious area
The Partouche Casino Le Lyon Vert de La Tour de Salvagny is located in the heart of the old thermal spa of Charbonnières-les-Bains, and enjoys a unique location just minutes away from the city centre of Lyon. The establishment in this beautiful area boasts a luxurious hotel and a gourmet restaurant.
The Hotel Pavillon de la Rotonde & Spa
The hotel Le Pavillon de la Rotonde & Spa has 8 deluxe rooms and 8 junior suites and is located in the heart of an elegantly landscaped park that is several hectares large and has very old trees. Between greenery and streams you can enjoy:
- a nice footpath through the Park de Lacroix Laval,
- a swimming pool,
- a gym,
- a spa.
The restaurant La Rotonde
The La Rotonde restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star, and it features an innovative menu with a choice of the best regional dishes made with fresh produce. The gourmet menu has been inspired by traditional dishes and the great French cuisine. The best thing about the restaurant is that it is very affordable too, and you can get a lunch menu for only €37, which includes a starter and main course, or main course and dessert.
Overall, I must acknowledge that the Partouche Casino Le Lyon Vert de La Tour de Salvagny has some great features. It has a striking Art Deco architecture and a modern interior design that creates a very nice atmosphere. The game selection is also very large and varied.
